The Chicken Ranch from “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” can be found on the Universal Studios lot as part of their studio tour. It’s located in on a popular street for filming. The same house appeared in the films “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo” and “Earthquake.” Just a couple doors down is the house from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video and right across the street is the house from “Grandma’s Boy.”
Not to be confused with the 1994 Jim Carrey comedy, the 1985 film “Mask,” directed by Peter Bogdanovich and starring Eric Stoltz, Cher and Sam Elliot, was a drama about a teenager with a facial deformity and his mom, struggling to live a normal life. The house where Rocky and his mother live in the film can be found in Monrovia, California.
Though it has changed quite a bit over the years, the house from the classic 1960s TV series “The Munsters” can still be seen today. Located on the Universal Studios Backlot, the house has since been used for a variety of productions, including the television series “Coach,” “Dragnet,” and “Desperate Housewives.” As often happens with studio backlots, depending on the style of the production, the facade was remodeled to fit their needs. However, the basic structure still loosely resembles how it appeared on the show. The house can be found on Colonial Street as part of the Universal Studios Hollywood Tour.

Seth Rogan and his wife, played by Rose Byrne, move into this house in hopes of having a quiet homestead to raise their infant daughter.

The house actually operates as an event space and filming location year round. The same house has been featured in Rob Zombie’s “Halloween,” “True Romance,” “No Strings Attached” and many more. It’s also located directly across the street from the house from “The People Under The Stairs.”
