The interior of the same location appears later in the film as the music shop where Holden talks with Hooper X, played by Dwight Ewell. It still operates as a music shop to this day.
After meeting Alyssa Jones, played by Joey Lauren Adams, Holden develops a friendship with her, which slowly develops into an unlikely romance. Holden and Alyssa sit on the swings at Victory Park in Rumson. The park has since changed a bit, but the hills in the background, as well as the Oceanic Bridge, still match up.

The 1984 film “The Last Starfighter” primarily takes place at a trailer park and general store. These scenes were filmed in Santa Clarita, California. The trailer park area to the left is now gated off and private, but the store on the right remains open to the public.

It has been featured in many films, such as “Wild At Heart,” “Reservoir Dogs,” “Drive,” “Bobby,” “Gangster Squad,” “Tango & Cash,” “The Naked Gun,” “The Hidden” and many more.
