The 2022 Noah Baumbach film “White Noise” was primarily shot in Northeast Ohio. The university where Jack, played by Adam Driver, works was a composite of several locations. The exterior was filmed at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby. Visual effects were employed to make it appear many other large buildings surrounded the property, which in reality are not there.

The Roadway Hotel, where Jack meets Mr. Gray, was a set built by the production. Located beneath the Innerbelt Freeway in Cleveland, while the hotel set is long gone, the distinct urban backdrop still looks the same as it appeared in the film.

The emergency clinic where Jack and Babette take Mr. Gray can also be found in Cleveland. The neon cross was added by the production. This location isn’t in one of the nicer areas of the city, so exercise caution if visiting.
