American Pie 2 (2001)

The 2001 sequel “American Pie 2” was filmed in Southern California. The opening shot of the college university was filmed at this building in Los Angeles. This same building has appeared in the films “The Cable Guy,” “Twins,” “Ouija,” “Changeling,” “Annabelle: Creation,” “The Ring 2,” “Puppet Master II,” “Truth or Dare,” “Where Sleeping Dogs Lie,” “Species III” and many more. It has also appeared in numerous TV shows, such as “Westworld,” “You,” “American Crime Story,” “Teen Wolf,” “Bosch: Legacy” and more.

Heather, played by Mena Suvari, is briefly seen calling from Spain. This scene was actually filmed at the the Pasadena City Hall.  It has been featured in numerous productions, such as “The Net,” “Beverly Hills Cop II” and “S1m0ne,” as well as the TV series “Parks And Recreation.”

Election (1999)

The 1999 film “Election,” like many of director Alexander Payne’s films, was shot around Omaha, Nebraska. The school scenes at “George Washington Carver High,” where much of the film takes place, were shot at Papillion-La Vista Senior High School in Papillion.
