Ghost In The Machine (1993)

The 1993 sci-fi horror film “Ghost in the Machine,” starring Karen Allen, is set in Cleveland, Ohio, but was actually filmed around Southern California.  The killer first strikes at this home in Pacific Palisades.  The same house was featured in the film “Bye Bye Love,” as well as the home of Zack Morris in the TV movie “Saved By The Bell: Wedding In Las Vegas.”

Near the end of the film, the Ohio Tech Particle Accelerator was filmed at the Tillman Water Reclamation Plant in Van Nuys  The location has been used in countless TV shows and films, notably serving as the “Starfleet Academy” in “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,” “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Star Trek: Enterprise.”  Other TV shows to film there include the original “Knight Rider,” “Murder She Wrote” and the original “Charmed.”  Films such as “Bio-Dome,” “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey,” “Twins,” “Nowhere,” “Rising Sun,” “Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery,” “Zoombies,” “Cyber Tracker” and “Most Wanted” also filmed at the location.
